Pilates with Purpose Is Back

Proceeds benefit the American Stroke Association.

Pilates with Purpose is an ongoing monthly fitness event that doubles as a social and charitable evening—all for less than the cost of a drop-in rate at most studios.

The latest event in the series takes place at District Hall Tuesday night. The evening begins with a 45-minute Pilates and barre class, led by Hanneke Antonelli—the first instructor to host Pilates classes on Bunker Hill—and Jessica Diaz, who will lead the barre portion of the sweat session. After class, refreshments will be provided, and participants can peruse bling from Melene Kent Jewels and clothes from Crane & Lion, a Boston-based online activewear retailer.

Proceeds from the event benefit Tedy’s Team, a local charity dedicated to raising money and awareness for the American Stroke Association.

$15; 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., District Hall, 75 Northern Ave., Fort Point; tickets through Eventbrite
