Follain Opening a Second Shop in Beacon Hill

The high-end skin care store will also open a D.C. location.

It all started with reading labels.

After a little digging into the ingredients listed on skin care products, Tara Foley, a 30-year-old entrepreneur, embarked on a research and education journey to discover and create products that are toxin-free and actually good for you skin—a promise that so many companies make but few can actually back up. After more than five years of research, Foley, who has an MBA from Babson, opened up Follain, the venerable, natural-skin care shop in the South End in July 2013.

Now, Follain is set to open a second city store in Beacon Hill at the end of April.

The new space will be located at 65 Charles Street, and it is set to open April 30th, the company announced in its newsletter. The new spot will also introduce fresh product lines, including men’s shaving products and items for mothers and children. South End customers will see the new options in the original store, and all items will also be available online.

But Foley isn’t done there. Follain will also open a permanent D.C. store this spring at 1309 5th Street NE, and the Nantucket store will reopen for the season at 9A South Beach Street.

The natural, safe, and effective skin care revolution has clearly just begun.
