In Boston, you can practice your postures in unique places such as Fenway, the MFA, the Gillette Stadium Field House, breweries, and more. Now, we can add the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum to the list.

Beginning Wednesday, June 3, at 1 p.m., you can take a yoga class inside the famous halls of the Gardner Museum. As a part of the new “Sanctuary Series,” yoga teacher Izzy Vanhall will lead an all-levels slow flow vinyasa class in Calderwood Hall every Wednesday in June.

Tickets are required and include museum admission. After class, you can visit the galleries, the famed courtyard (pictured above), and/or explore the gardens for what the museum is calling “a self-guided meditation.” Additional dates include June 10, June 17, and June 24.

You will have to bring your own mat for the hour long class, and definitely sign up early, as the class is limited to 25 participants.

Adults $15, seniors $12, members $10, students $5. Tickets can be purchased online, by calling 617-278-5156, or in-person at the museum.
