With a yoga studio on seemingly every block and more opening all the time, it’s safe to say Boston’s yoga community is thriving. Now, a new company wants to outfit the city’s mat-toting masses.

Yogasmoga, an activewear brand that prides itself on ethical business and domestic manufacturing, will open a store in the Prudential Center by December of this year, according to an announcement from the company. The shop will be Yogasmoga’s first location in Massachusetts.

Never heard of Yogasmoga? The company was founded by natives of the Himalayas, the birthplace of yoga, and produces high-tech athletic clothes for men and women. Prices are comparable to similar activewear stores—think $100 for leggings. The brand also runs the Namaskár Foundation, which seeks to provide better healthcare, education, and microlending to people in developing countries.

In addition to the Prudential Center store, Yogasmoga is also opening new locations in New York, New Jersey, and California by the end of this year.
