As the air grows chillier and sunsets descend earlier, many Bostonians veer dangerously close to hibernation mode. Don’t let that be you. Instead, fight the couch potato urge with these nine November fitness events.

1. Yoga for Snow Conditioning

Get ready for ski or snowboard season with this yoga class specifically tailored to getting the body ready for winter sports. It’s held each Tuesday, but you can drop in as you please.

2. Glow in the Dark Core Fusion Cardio

Continuing the fitness in nightclubs trend, this 75-minute cardio class will be held at Stage Nightclub. Participants are invited to don their finest glow sticks and body paint and stay afterward for drinks at the bar.

3. Sip Salutations

Billed as a “detox and retox” event, Sip Salutations combines a Lululemon-hosted vinyasa yoga class with drinks from local breweries and distilleries. The best part? It’s totally free.

6. Savage Games

7. Cranksgiving Bike Ride

Boston’s second annual Cranksgiving has riders weave their way through Boston streets and grocery store aisles on the hunt for specific food items to donate to the Greater Boston Foodbank, Red Cross, and the Somerville Homeless Coalition. Registration is free, but you’ll pay for the food you donate.
