People Are Going Crazy Over Polar’s New Mystery Flavor

The festive limited-edition release has been dubbed Seltzebrate.

Polar Seltzer, like Beyoncé, is a master of the surprise product release. First it was Unicorn Kisses. Now, it’s a mystery flavor dubbed “Seltzebrate.”

Just in time for the holidays, Seltzebrate gives your favorite one-liter bottle a gilded, fancy upgrade, inscribed with festive words in a loopy script. It is Polar Gold Label, if you will.

It is also, like all good things in life, difficult to find. Visits to our usual seltzer haunts came up empty, and those lucky enough to find the holiday magic, as you’ll see below, are stocking up while they can. A bottle even sold for $14—which, FYI, is at least 14 times Polar’s usual retail price—on eBay.

So, what does this holiday elixir taste like? According to an insider source, it’s got notes of citrus, vanilla, and champagne, and its flavor is “creamy but sparkly” and “definitely celebratory.”

Other seltzer fans have different thoughts. Instagram commenters have thrown out bubble gum, pineapple, pear, raspberry, mimosa, Creamsicle, passionfruit, and just about everything in between.

Guess you’ll have to see for yourself.
