Spring may not yet have sprung—seriously, April 1 snowstorm?—but the light at the end of the tunnel is officially shining brighter.

The first of the outdoor free fitness schedules is here, offering a much-needed reminder that spring and summer will come again, even if it feels like your winter coat is now permanently affixed to your body. Just in time, if you ask us.

Seaport Sweat is back for its second year, offering plenty of free classes on the Seaport Common, at 85 Northern Avenue. The festivities start June 1, and run through September. The full schedule, which you can see here, includes:

  • Monday: Box and Body at 6 p.m., plus Kick It by Eliza at 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday: HIIT at 5:30 p.m., plus Boxing Conditioning at 6:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday: Yoga at 6 p.m., plus Kick It by Eliza at 7 p.m.
  • Thursday: Kick It by Eliza at 5:30 p.m., plus HIIT at 6:30 p.m.
  • Friday: Yoga at 12 p.m.

Plus, Equinox is joining the fun as it prepares to open its Seaport location. One Saturday per month, Equinox trainers will host a free “master class” on the Seaport Common. Classes change each month—expect everything from boxing and metabolic conditioning to barre and Pilates—and will be offered on June 24, July 15, August 12, and September 9. Register for the first class here.

There will also be a free bike tune-up series on the Seaport Common every other Wednesday morning between May 3 and September 27. Cyclists can stop by between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. to get some bike TLC from Landry’s Bicycles, as well as light refreshments from Juice Press.

File this under: things to look forward to.

This story was updated on June 16 to include Equinox’s series.
