This Is What Fitness Influencers Eat for Breakfast

The Phit Kitties let us into their kitchen.

We don’t need to tell you that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. In this series, we’re asking top doctors, fitness pros, and dietitians for a sneak peek into their kitchens, so we can see what’s on their breakfast tables.

The Phit Kitties (real names: Krystyna Sadowski and Meagan Crossett) are best friends and local fitness influencers. You can catch them sweating all over town, and chronicling their exercise adventures on Instagram @phitkitties.

What They Ate:

Sadowski went for two over-easy eggs with arugula and cherry tomatoes, while Crossett chose oatmeal with bananas, blueberries, and peanut butter.

Why They Chose It:

Though their morning meals are quite different—Sadowski says she goes the savory route because “arugula is my favorite green and I hate making smoothies,” while Crossett says she “loves different combos” of oats and fruit—their purpose is the same.

“We’re always on the go, so fast and easy is key for us,” Sadowski says. “We start most mornings before the sun comes up and don’t have time for fancy breakfasts before we start work. Iced coffee is life.”
