New Yoga Studio Opening in Southie
Radiant yoga opens Monday.
Another yoga studio opens in Boston today. Can we ever get enough?
Chanel Luck, a well-known yogi around town who has taught at Down Under in Newton and The Sports Club/LA¬†downtown, is opening Radiant Yoga Boston Monday in South Boston. The mission of the new studio is “to provide students with an accessible environment to flow freely and rock out through movement, music, and meditation.”
Radiant Yoga will offer 25 classes per week and the schedule offers a wide range of options. This is Luck’s first studio and she brings with her more than¬†a decade of teaching and certification in four different styles of yoga including Ashtanga, Baptiste, Forrest, and Prana Vinyasa, and all will be offered at Radiant. “I am excited to introduce Radiant Yoga Boston to encourage Bostonians to move, groove, and meditate,” Luck says. “It is my mission to continue to make yoga more accessible so more people can feel and reap the incredible benefits of this age-old practice.”
Radiant will be the first ‚Äėhome‚Äô for the non-profit that Luck founded called, Yoga for Single Moms, which provides single-parents with “wellness experiences for the body and mind” through complimentary yoga classes, along with in-house child care. This gives single moms (and hopefully single dads, too) the benefits of yoga without financial or child care constraints. “Children can enjoy a fun and safe place to explore, create, play, and learn, through yoga,” Luck says.
Classes will have what Luck says is “creative sequencing, a spirited music selection, and an energetic style.”¬†Fluid Power Flow and Heated Flow will be “strong and playful” while other classes will be more “compassionate and supportive” like Restore & Flow and Candlelight Yin Flow.
