The North End's Home Design Boutique: Acquire

What’s new in this beautiful, eclectic Boston decor store?

Nestled among the Italian bakeries and pasta delights of the North End, Acquire Boutique offers a most delightful feast for the senses. Over the past four years, owner and interior designer Nikki Dalrymple has blended an enviable collection of vintage and industrial antique furniture, contemporary design, and found objects. Displayed with artful creativity, the selection of home goods and gifts are always seasonally new, while favored brands such as Arteriors, Noir, and Vagabond Vintage are regular additions.

Oh mirrors, birdcages, and doctor bags! Restoration and upholstery of pieces sourced from across the United States are done by the in-house Acquire trades team.

Delicious ceramics and textiles look perfect in a vintage cabinet.

On March 8th 7pm-9pm Acquire will host Alicia Engman, a Boston based furniture and industrial lighting designer. Alicia reworks found and salvaged pieces to create her industrial modern lighting line. Keep up to date with other in-store events here.

Asked of any exciting projects she is currently working on, Nikki hints at plans for “a pop-up shop this summer somewhere warm and by the water!” With Nikki’s artistic eye and style that is something to look forward to!
