This inaugural comedy festival, directed by Somerville native Brian Joyce, is devoted to alternative comedy. It will feature some of the worlds lesser known, but equally hilarious talents. Friday night’s festival opener will feature Emo Philips, Todd Barry, Eugene Mirman, and British comedian doktor cocacolamcdonalds. The second show will feature Boston’s own Walsh Brothers, Patton Oswalt, Morgan Murphy, and Jim Jeffries of Opie and Anthony. For some of the performers, this will be their first trip to Boston, so help welcome them to Beantown with a few laughs!
