Boston has long been considered a launching pad for fresh musical talent. No Contract Needed (NCN) and the Somerville Theatre present Live n’ Local, a grouping of local bands who are ready to prove that they, too, have what it takes to make it. NCN was created to promote independent talent in the New England area, giving local bands the opportunity to join forces and perform for their fans. The show will present a few of Boston’s prominent local bands including 3rd Left, On the Drop, Dave Crespo & The After Party , Someday Rome, the Ride, and Battle of the Band winner Ubiquitous. This is a great opportunity to take in the sights and sounds of the same live music scene that created Aerosmith and the Cars.
