Join one of the South End's hippest bars, the Beehive, for their 1st annual Mardi Gras celebration. The Nat Simpkins/Henri Smith Band, who moved to Boston after Hurricane Katrina, have been recruited to play the Fat Tuesday gig. There will be a special cajun style menu and plenty of beads, masks, and doubloon coins to go around. A portion of the evenings proceeds will go to the Tipitina's Foundation, a New Orleans based charity that supports displaced musicians from the Big Easy.
