Mark Wahlberg Filming on Mass. Ave.

Earlier this afternoon, my coworker Paul Kix shouted: “Mark Wahlberg is outside our office!”

Suffice it to say, the girls sprung out of their chairs like a pack of prairie dogs. He wasn’t outside (thanks, Paul), but at least five production trailers were.

So, a group of our “reporters” wandered over to the scene (starting at Mass. and Westland Avenues) and chatted it up with a Boston police officer on duty. Rumor has it that Mark Wahlberg will emerge from one of those trailers around 5 p.m. to film for his new movie, Ted. Presumably, we’ll also see a glimpse of co-stars Mila Kunis and Joel McHale, plus Seth MacFarlane in his directorial debut.

One thing we know is for certain: A crew that’s willing to shoot on Mass. Ave during rush hour must really want that scene.

Leave a comment below if you, too, have any Wahlberg sightings around town.
