Help a Wounded Warrior This Veterans Day

Got a minute? You can show your support for the troops this Veterans Day with the help of the local startup Vsnap. The six-month-old video message and filesharing service has launched a campaign called Vthankyou, which encourages people to make simple, one minute videos to express their gratitude for the work done by the men and women in uniform. For each video created, $5 will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. Glee’s Mike O’Malley kicked off the campaign with a video of his own, and so far, they’ve received digital missives from across the country, including this touching tribute from WWII vet Donato Gattineri, who fought in the Normandy invasion. (Be sure to click through to his old photos, he’s a looker.)

Vsnap’s founder, Dave McLaughlin, was actually kind enough to create a special message to help walk you Boston magazine readers through the process.
