Okay, That Was Well Played, Poland Spring

Okay, Poland Spring, we have to give you some credit where it’s due. Rubio’s weird lunge for a sip of water in the middle of his Republican response to the State of the Union Tuesday night spawned much comment online, and after he finished, he good-naturedly tweeted out a photo of an empty Poland Spring bottle. All this was met with social media silence from our friends in Maine, until Wednesday afternoon, when their Facebook page posted this photo:

… with the note “Reflecting on our cameo. What a night!” People rewarded the post with 2,477 likes and 631 shares. (The post immediately preceding it had four shares, by comparison.)  So it appears they do have internet connections that far north. They just run a little slower.
