Nathaniel Fujita Is Guilty in the Murder of Lauren Astley. Earlier this morning, a jury convicted Fujita of first-degree murder and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and one count of assault and battery in the July 2011 death of Astley. Sentencing is scheduled for noon.  [WCVB | Globe] UPDATE, 12:37 p.m.: Fujita was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, numerous outlets report. Appeal is automatic in first-degree cases.
