Jack Edwards Had the Best Reaction to the Bruins Win

And by "best," we mean "darkest."

Everyone was excited to see the Bruins pull off an unthinkable come-back to win Game 7 against the Maple Leafs Monday night (Well, okay, Toronto fans weren’t so excited.) But no one was quite as bloodthirsty with glee as NESN’s Jack Edwards. Edwards’s network so enjoyed his reaction as he called Patrice Bergeron’s game winning shot in overtime, they went ahead and loaded it up to YouTube. (This is by no means his first time coming unhinged.) Let’s take an annotated look through Edwards’s comments, post goal. Edwards begins with a pretty standard reaction:

“BERGERON SCORES!”

Then things get a little dark.

“PATRICE BERGERON! WITH THE POINT OF THE DAGGER IN THEIR THROATS …”

Then stuff starts sounding like a Greek myth:

“THEY RIP IT OUT OF TORONTO’S HANDS AND KILL THE BEAST!”

You decide, is Jack Edwards actually just Sid from Toy Story?

Or?

The best is the near psychopathic way Edwards then just immediately reverts to a calm posture, having, apparently, just watched a dragon bleed to death. Hey, if the Triwizard Tournament ever needs someone to call their competitions, we think we know someone. But good luck getting Bruins fans to give him up, because this guy is a treasure.
