In an interview for his DuJour magazine feature, he calls himself a chick magnet '4 life.'

Rob Gronkowski, known athlete, is a fair devotee to the task of enjoying life as a preeminent winner. He prefers casual social gatherings amid his party bus, largely endorses the sophisticated tango known as the twerk, and also frequents the dating world as an apparent relationship optimist. If we were Rob Gronkowski—and we are, since Gronk is all of us, and we are all Gronk—we too would be in favor of living life enthusiastically.

Staying true to his traits, Gronkowski, in his latest feature with DuJour magazine, showed off his art of merrymaking in the form of beach recreation. (Well, something like that.) In her feature, senior editor Lindsay Silberman observed Gronkowski when they attended a wine tasting together. Here’s Gronk, partaking in conversation about adult beverages:

“My drink is usually vodka with water because it gets you hydrated and drunk at the same time,” he explains after the sommelier has departed. “I never drink wine. There’s only one wine I like, but I forget what it’s called. It tastes like Sprite.”

Ah, yes, the refined taste of Sprite. We’re so glad that Gronk is indulging in life’s finest. In a behind-the-scenes video with DuJour (see below), Gronkowski sits down with Silberman for a Q&A. Here’s Gronk, nostalgically reflecting on his time as a youth:

Gronkowski: I did make National Honors Society in high school. I kind of always did get good grades. Math was my favorite subject, and English was my worst.

Silberman: You speak so eloquently.

Gronkowski: I don’t even know what that word means.

Bleacher Report also caught exclusive bits of his interview with Silberman that weren’t included in the feature (the funny parts, essentially). Here’s Gronk, sharing intimate details on some of his romantic history:

Silberman: Have you always been a ladies man?

Gronkowski: I mean, my screen name in fourth grade on AIM was “chickmagnet4life,” so it started in fourth grade…and that’s “4 life.”

Thank you, Gronk, for the notes on life’s consistencies. You are an inspiration to everyone.
