Sen. Elizabeth Warren took a break from posterizing Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump on Twitter to continue doing so in person.

‘‘Donald Trump claims that the reason he’s qualified to be president of the United States is that he is a very, very, very successful businessman.’’ Warren told reporters at a community health care center in Quincy. ‘‘Donald Trump is not a great business success and it’s time he’s called on it.’’

‘‘He’s the one who quotes Mussolini,’’ she said. ‘‘That is really scary and the American people should pay very close attention.’’

While Warren has yet to endorse either former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton or Sen. Bernie Sanders, her comments Thursday were particularly supportive of the Vermont senator.

“He’s out there. He fights from the heart. This is who Bernie is,’’ she said. ‘‘He has put the right issues on the table both for the Democratic Party and for the country in general so I’m still cheering Bernie on.’”

Warren said she plans to make an endorsement eventually, but would not reveal who she voted for in the March 1 Massachusetts primary.
