Tough but fair.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell would be wise to stay out of New England.

After all, when you lead a witch hunt against the region’s most beloved sports hero, you can expect to be the target of a Lynn science fair project, or worse: banned from Lambert’s Rainbow Fruit.

Lambert’s, located at 777 Morrissey Boulevard in Dorchester, has banned the commish fresh off winning his appeal against New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for his alleged role in Deflategate and reinstating his four-game suspension.

To the delight of tight-end Rob Gronkowski, watermelon at Lambert’s is a cool 69 cents per pound.
