Jam’n 94.5 Changes Morning Show Again, Syndicates ‘The Breakfast Club’

It's been less than a year since the station overhauled its morning program.

For the second time in less than a year, Jam’n 94.5 is changing up its morning show.

Jam’n 94.5 listers who tuned in Thursday morning heard The Breakfast Club, a nationally syndicated program featured on 60 stations across the country, featuring Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy.

“The Breakfast Club” replaces Framingham native and Kiss 108 DJ Frankie Vinci and former Real World: New Orleans cast member Ashlee Feldman. Jam’n 94.5 brought the pair in to replace longtime host Ramiro Torres, who failed to reach an agreement over a new contract, and his co-host Santi DeOleo in July.

“Frankie’s open, honest and vulnerable personality creates unique conversations that made him a success in San Diego. Being a Boston kid and Jam’n fan growing up, I know Frankie understands this city, our music and the lifestyle of the Jam’n listener,” Dylan Sprague, senior vice president of programming, in a statement at the time. “Pair that with Ashlee Feldman’s deep connection with the Jam’n audience and you have a show that will be fun, edgy and will give young Boston a real voice on the radio.”

Last month, Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton joined The Breakfast Club and said that, like Beyonce, she too carries hot sauce in her bag.
