Watch: Fourth of July Fireworks Go Off at Once at Plymouth Celebration

Malfunctions caused fires on two barges.

A Fourth of July celebration in Plymouth ended in a fiery mishap on Monday night.

According to the Boston Globe, a barge containing fireworks for the festivities caught fire, causing the pyrotechnics to go off at once for an explosive ending. A second barge also caught fire, however, no one was hurt in either incident.

Officials believe that a malfunction may be behind the fires, but an exact cause has yet to be determined as police continue to investigate the matter.
