How An Inept British Cricket Fan Might Announce a Red Sox Yankees Game

By | Boston Daily |

Online British comedy duo Anthony Richardson and Mark Davison, known as the Exploding Heads, are “semi-famous among football fans” for their parodies of pre-game soccer commentary, according to The Guardian. Now they’ve brought their non-skills to the sport of baseball, specifically the age-old Red Sox-Yankees rivalry.

In their latest YouTube video, they imagine a rather inept British person unclear on the difference between cricket and baseball calling a Red Sox-Yankees game. Highlights include the announcer describing a routine fly ball that ends the inning by saying, “No! Caught by the chap in the pajamas with the glove that makes everything easier. Now they all scuttle off for a nap.” We chuckled at least six times, therefore you should watch it. [Via Universal Hub]
