Ask Bernstein Anything

Our contributing editor is taking your questions about local and state politics.

By | Boston Daily |

“All men by nature desire to know,” said Aristotle, one of the early masters of Ask Me Anything Day. Or, as Bertrand Russell put it: “There is much pleasure to be gained from useless knowledge.”

Leave your questions as comments to this post, or email them to me at David@DavidSBernstein.com; I will do my best to answer them in posts throughout the day.

I’m looking forward to it!

You’re someone that’s been unafraid to call out local media before. Having said that, what’s your honest take on the mayoral coverage by the Globe? Is the perception by some that they’re in the tank for Connolly accurate in your estimation, and if so, has it influenced their coverage? Or is that perception merely a creation of the Walsh campaign team? (I work on neither campaign).

We’ve got Finegold & Goldberg in Treasurer race. Healey and Naughton in AG race. Who are we most likely to see get in and can you rate the strength of candidates that are in and most likely to get in .

  • Dave

What’s next for each of the Boston 12?

How do you see the rest of the AG race shaking out?

Any chance at a non prosecutor running?

  • GG

    Walsh or Connolly?

Warren Tolman for AG? Will Middlesex DA face serious primary opponent?

  • jeffreyjames

District 8 City Council. I am sick of seeing that damn bridge smeared all over everything and feel like Nichols has some relevant experience. What are your thoughts?

  • Andrew Carden

Any chance the Top 4 for at-large won’t be Pressley, Murphy, Flaherty and Wu (and probably in that order)?

    • GG

I think it will be Pressley (so undeserving of it) Wu, Flaherty and Murphy or Kelly….not sure Murph is still safe

  • Thomas Waite

What are the critical policy differences between the two candidates that every voter should know?

  • StevenE

What’s next (or in the not-so-distant future) for the non-victorious MA-05 candidates?
