Tom Brady Suspects His Super Bowl Jersey Was Stolen
It’s happened before.
Move over, Gardner heist. Boston’s got a new whodunit.
In a video tweeted by the NFL after New England’s historic comeback win in the first overtime ever played in the Super Bowl, team owner Bob Kraft is doling out victory cigars when quarterback Tom Brady realizes something’s missing.
“Someone stole my game jersey,” Brady says.
“You better look online,” Kraft quips.

“I put it in my bag, and then I came out and it wasn’t there anymore. It’s unfortunate, because that’s a nice piece of memorabilia,” Brady said at his press conference Monday morning. “If it shows up on eBay somewhere, someone let me know. Try to track to that down.”
This sort of thing isn’t all that unheard of. Russian President Vladimir Putin pilfered Kraft’s Super Bowl ring in 2005 after the Brookline native let him try the $25,000 hunk of jewelry on.“I was willing to have one made with his name on it. Maybe we will have the new president bring it to him when he connects with him,” Kraft said.
