Heart Gallery Opening Reception

The Heart Gallery is a striking exhibit of 29 portraits of children in the Massachusetts foster care system in need of a permanent family. The goal of the Heart Gallery is to create awareness about foster care adoption and educate the public about the 3,000 children in state care awaiting adoption. The Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE) hosted the Heart Gallery Opening Reception on March 24, 2005 at the Panopticon Gallery at Hotel Commonwealth in Boston. Attendees mingled with many of the photographers and children involved in this exciting project, including honorary chair and First Lady of Boston, Angela Menino.
