Joslin Diabetes Center's High Hopes Diamond Gala

The Joslin Diabetes Center's 5th Annual High Hopes Diamond Gala was a terrific time, with gross monies raised topping $1 million. Roberta Morgan of Lexington, a long-time volunteer with Joslin, won the genuine diamond pendant (valued at $6500 and donated by DePrisco Jewelers) from the Diamond Tower containing 300 boxed jewels: 299 containing a 1.0 carat cubic zirconia, one featuring the real McCoy! Four Red Sox signed baseballs (Wake, Damon, Lowe and Millar) featured in the Silent Auction generated in excess of $3000.
