Horizons for Homeless Children's Women's Breakfast

Horizons for Homeless Children, a Massachusetts non-profit dedicated to serving homeless children and families, held its 6th Annual Women's Breakfast September 30 at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. The event raised $329,000 that will be used to deliver programs and services to homeless children and their families. The program featured Gloria Steinem, writer, editor, feminist activist and co-founder of the National Women's Political Caucus and Ms. magazine. Ms. Steinem reflected on today's society and how each of us as individuals can make a contribution that leads to a positive outcome.
