“Americans in Paris” Opening

The Museum of Fine Art opened its "Americans in Paris, 1860-1900" exhibit on 6/19 with a little help from a fitting source: the French ambassador to the U.S., Jean-David Levitte. More than 400 guests turned out to celebrate the work of Whistler, Sargent, Cassatt, and other art-world luminaries of the day.
