Boston History Awards Gala

The Boston History Award Gala was hosted by The Bostonian Society on 10/12 at the Liberty Hotel. Awards in historic preservation and history were presented to Alden Gifford, Jr., Richard Friedman, Mayor Thomas M. Menino, and Nathanial Philbrick. Proceeds benefit the programs, services, and collections of The Bostonian Society, including operation of Boston's historic Old State House. Photos by Michael Dwyer.
