Gardner Museum Benefit

Over 200 guests gathered at Boston’s newly-opened Mandarin Oriental Hotel for this celebration of the Gardner’s arts programming, inspired by the museum’s recent special exhibition, Journeys East: Isabella Stewart Gardner and Asia. Greeted by kimono-clad students from Boston’s Showa Japanese Institute, attendees enjoyed cocktails, a special performance by world-renowned violinist Joshua Bell, remarks by WICKED author and Gardner Museum overseer Gregory Maguire, and a decadent menu inspired by the flavors of Asia. I’ve attached an overview of the evening’s festivities for more information.
