On 11/16, Boston Celtics captain Paul "The Truth" Pierce came together with his teammates and local celebrities at "The Truth Strikes Again" celebrity charity bowling tournament. The event was held at the newly-opened Kings Lanes in Dedham's Legacy Place, and raised more than $200,000 for Pierce's Truth on Health Campaign and FitClub34 by Harvard Pilgrim. The Truth on Health Campaign was created to help empower and encourage young people to lead healthier lifestyles, in an effort to prevent obesity. The benefit featured a VIP reception, and live and silent auctions.
