The Home for Little Wanderers' Gingerbread House Decorating Competition

The Home for Little Wanderers hosted a Gingerbread House Decorating Competition on 12/02 to kick off the non-profit’s annual Big Stars Holiday Auction and Big Wishes Gift Drive. Rialto Chef Jody Adams, the Summer Shack’s Jasper White, Asana Pastry Chef Nelson Paz, and Ginger Betty’s owner Beth Veneto teamed up with kids from the community and other VIPs including Magic 106.7’s Candy O’Terry and Gay Vernon, WCVB-TV’s Kimberly Bookman, and Boston Blazer Gary Bining to decorate houses with the theme “There’s no place like home.” Each was auctioned off as part of The Home’s annual online holiday auction which supports the organization’s 18 programs which serve children at risk and families across Eastern Massachusetts.
