The Greater Boston Food Bank Banquet

On 5/6, The Greater Boston Food Bank opened the doors to The Yawkey Distribution Center for their annual Food Banquet. The event, which attracted 450 guests, raised more than $777,000 for the Food Bank's continuing efforts to meet hunger demands in eastern Massachusetts, surpassing the night's $750,000 goal. The Food Bank's CEO Catherine D'Amato welcomed the night's emcee, Greg Hill of WAAF, and local media personalities Billy Costa and Jenny Johnson, who auctioned off an Ultimate Tailgate Experience at Gillette Stadium with banquet attendee and Sports Illustrated writer, Peter King, during the night's live auction.
