Silent Spring Institute Awards Dinner

On 5/6, the Friends of Silent Spring Institute held their "Friends of Silent Spring Institute Dinner" at Boston's InterContinental Hotel to benefit the Susan S. Bailis Breast Cancer Research Fund. The fundraiser featured a presentation of Rachel Carson Advocacy Awards to former legislator and talk-show host Marjorie Clapprood, breast cancer activist Judi Hirshfield-Bartek, and Boston fashion icon Marilyn Riseman to recognize their proactive work in advancing the organization's mission, research, and outreach. Honorary Chairs were Joan and Ted Cutler.
