"King of the Wing" Competition

On 9/16 WHDH-TV anchor Anne Allred and MIX 104.1 morning show hosts Karson Tager and Kennedy Elsey judged an all-star line-up of Boston chefs and restaurants as they came together to raise money for Community Servings at Game On! Fenway's inaugural "King of the Wing" competition. The celebrity judges sampled wing selections from Game On!, Eastern Standard, Myers+Chang, East Coast Grill, Kings, Stadium, The Harp, Jacob Wirth Co. and Jerry Remy's. The judges reached a unanimous decision and decided on winners in three different categories: Chef Nate Rager of Eastern Standard took home the trophy for "Most Creative" while chefs Chris Schlesinger & Jason Heard of East Coast Grill won the "Best BBQ" category. Chef Pat Shea of Game On! Fenway took home the prize for "Most Authentic Buffalo" for his fiery recipe. Proceeds from the event will benefit Community Servings.
