Omg. I'm waiting for "Ain't nothin' wrong with bein' a little gay."

Boston Lyric Opera's "A Roman Affair"

The Boston Lyric Opera (BLO) welcomed over 250 guests to the Mandarin Oriental, Boston on 10/16 for "A Roman Affair," BLO's biggest annual fundraiser. The evening's theme imagined a 21st birthday party for the illustrious Emperor Nero and was inspired by Handel's beautiful comedy Agrippina, which will be presented at the Citi Performing Arts Center Shubert Theatre in March. Featuring dramatic performances by principal singers of the Company, "A Roman Affair" delighted guests and welcomed the start of the BLO's new 2010-2011 Season. The event raised $390,000, including a record $105,000 for BLO's newly expanded emerging artists program.
