WBUR Gala

On 11/10, 90.9 WBUR, Boston's NPR News Station, hosted the 9th Annual WBUR Public Radio Gala at the Seaport Hotel. Nearly 400 guests gathered for exciting program celebrating WBUR's 60th Anniversary with Hosts Robin Young of Here & Now, Tom Ashbrook of On Point and Bob Oakes of Morning Edition, plus special guests from NPR: Robert Siegel, Nina Totenberg, Audie Cornish and Ari Shapiro. WBUR Station Manager Corey Lewis announced that proceeds from table and ticket sales, plus the auction with items donated by corporate underwriters, reached an all-time high of $376,000 - to support the next 60 years of independent news and programming on WBUR.
