Scampo Esquire Luncheon

Chef Lydia Shire was one of 10 women to be recognized in Esquire Magazine’s Female Universe of Culinary Bostonians as part of its annual Best New Restaurant issue (November 2010). Noted along with the late Julia Child, the nine honored women are a testament to the talented group of female chefs in Boston who have helped shape the city’s vibrant culinary scene. On December 9, 2010, Shire hosted a special luncheon at her Boston restaurant Scampo at The Liberty Hotel honoring Esquire’s choice women. Chefs Jody Adams (Rialto), Rachel Klein (Aura), Michela Larson (Rocca), Barbara Lynch (Menton) and Azita Bina-Seibel (Bin 26) gathered to make merry.
