23rd Annual Literary Lights

The Associates of the Boston Public Library hosted the 23rd Annual Literary Lights Dinner for over 400 guests on Sunday, April 17th, in the Grand Ballroom of the Boston Park Plaza Hotel. The “Literary Lights” dinner — complete with glowing candelabras on each table — honored authors Stephen Burt, Thomas Cook, Lydia Diamond, Paul Harding, Ann Hood, Chef Barbara Lynch, Ron Powers and Daniel Okrent for their excellence in a wide variety of literary genres. The event raised funds for the David McCullough Conservation Fund, established by the Associates in 2001, for the restoration and preservation of works in the Library’s Rare Books and Special Collections.
