Party in the Park

The 8th Annual Party in the Park spring gala to benefit the Justine Mee Liff Fund at the Emerald Necklace Conservancy was held on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the Kelleher Rose Garden in the Back Bay Fens. The Party in the Park, which drew nearly 700 Bostonians all donning hats for the occasion, was proud to honor Valerie Burns, President of the Boston Natural Areas Network, with the 2011 Justine Mee Liff Spirit Award. Guests were treated to performances by musicians from The Boston Symphony Orchestra, Featured Partner, J.P. Morgan returned as the corporate sponsor, and Winston Flowers and The Catered Affair provided the flowers and catering for the seventh straight year. To date, the Party in the Park event and its supporters have raised well over $1.6 million to support special projects in Boston's beautiful Emerald Necklace park system.
