5th Annual Father of the Year Awards

On June 14, the Boston Father's Day Council and the American Diabetes Association hosted the 5th annual Father of the Year Awards Dinner at the Seaport World Trade Center. Each year the Boston Father’s Day Council and the ADA recognize local men for the outstanding strength, commitment and love they exhibit as fathers. This year’s Father of the Year honorees were Bob Coughlin, President and CEO, Massachusetts Biotechnology Council; Mike Sheehan, CEO, Hill Holiday and Patrick T. Clendenen, Attorney at Law, Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP. The event was attended by over 200 supporters and raised over $220,000. Funds from the Father of the Year Awards Dinner benefit the ADA and its mission to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
