Yankee Classic DanceSport Championships

Yankee Classic DanceSport, a prestigious annual Boston-based national competition featured scholarships to benefit AdMeTech Foundation's Dance for a Cure of Prostate Cancer. Professional celebrities of the ABC TV’s hit Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) presented awards and staged support for the AdMeTech Foundation's quest to create Manogram(TM): Life-saving imaging for men. Nick Kosovich, an Emmy award-winning choreographer for DWTS who coached Hines Ward to the victory in the last season (spring 2011) served as MC and was joined by Shirley Ballas, a former unbeatable Latin Champion and coach for DWTS’ Mark Ballas; Charlotte Jorgensen, one of the original DWTS’ professional cast members and winners; David Oliveri, a lead dancer for Las Vegas' Le Reve where ballroom dancing has been choreographed by Maksim Chmerkovskiy of DWTS and other stars of dancing. Yankee Classic Organizers are Judi Hatton, Vice President of the National Dance Council of America; and Cathi and John Nyemchek, former professional United States Champions.
