Boston Hot Pink Party

The Hot Pink Party, hosted at the Museum of Fine Arts on May 17th, 2011, maintained its image as Boston’s hottest charity, lighting the building bright pink. Sponsored by the Breast Cancer Research Foundation that was founded by Evelyn Lauder two decades ago, the annual event raised over $1 million dollars. 2011 Humanitarian Awardees Pyramid Hotel Group CEO Rick Kelleher and wife Nancy were commissioned a glass piece by the famous glass sculptor Chihuly. The venue packed 500 guests dressed with a hint of pink enjoying cocktails, a raffle, and Grammy award-winning hip hop violinist Miri Ben-Ari’s musical styling.
