Big Sister's 60th Anniversary Party

On Saturday, November 12, the non-profit Big Sister Association of Greater Boston raised more than $850,000 towards the healthy development of girls through mentoring at its 60th Anniversary Party at the Museum of Fine Arts. The evening, with the theme "Every Girl, a Masterpiece," honored philanthropist and political activist Elaine Schuster. Over 500 supporters were present, including Chelsea Clinton, who shared an inspirational story about her late grandmother and helped honor Schuster. Attorney General Martha Coakley, Secretary of State Bill Galvin, Mayor Thomas Menino, Treasurer Steve Grossman, Sheriff Andrea Cabral, State Rep Smitty Pignatelli, and State Rep Jeffrey Sanchez were also in attendance, among many others.
