"A Taste of Bordeaux" Dinner

The French Cultural Center hosted "Le Tour De France Viticole 2011," A Taste of Bordeaux on Monday, November 21st, for 130 guests at the Chilton Club. The sold-out benefit raised funds for the Center's "Accent on Success" after-school program, providing French language instruction at the elementary level for low-income students mostly of Haitian backgrounds. The evening's guest of honor was Corinne Mentzelopoulos, owner and CEO of Château Margaux, one of the world's finest wineries located in Bordeaux, France. Wines served included (Pièce de résistance) Château Margaux 1978, Château Margaux 1999, Pavillon Blanc 2009, Pavillon Rouge 2003 and guests tasted the Château Margaux 2004 and Pavillon Rouge 2004.
