Make Noise to Save a Life

More than 1,000 high school and college students attended Make Noise to Save a Life at the House of Blues raising $50,000 for the Samaritans, a suicide prevention organization that serves Greater Boston and beyond. Billboard club artist Joe Bermudez spun tracks for the dance floor while the adults and event sponsors had their own party upstairs. Suicide is a silent crisis. Family and friends affected by suicide often suffer quietly and alone. To combat that, event participants were encouraged to wear loud clothing, make noise and dance the night away.
