Battle of the Burger

On August 7th, Boston magazine hosted the first annual Battle of the Burger presented by Amstel Light at the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal in South Boston. 20 restaurants competed for the honor, grilling their best burgers for 800 guests. All competitors were voted into the top 20 from a list of almost 60 restaurants by the public during the spring on bostonmagazine.com/burger. Guests not only enjoyed unlimited burgers and Amstel Light, but music by Jackson Wetherbee, a lounge by Infiniti, the First Trade Union Bank Oasis Spa, the Amstel Beer Garden, and complimentary snacks. The evening ended with the announcement of Boston Burger Company as the winner.
