Whittier Street Health Center Annual Roast

President and CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Andrew Dreyfus was put in the, “hot seat” on April 3, 2013 at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel as part of Whittier Street Health Center’s Annual Roast. For over 15 years, Whittier has held the tradition of honoring and jesting local leaders whom have made tremendous and admirable strides to improve the Boston area. Dreyfus was honored by Whittier’s President & CEO, Frederica Williams, for being a compassionate business man, health care advocate and coalition builder. Whittier’s award recognizes his efforts to improve access, raise quality, provide affordability and deliver the kind of care required to address health care disparities. The proceeds of the roast will help Whittier build a new medical fitness center to address the health and social disparities in Roxbury’s urban community. Photos by Chris Aduama/Aduama Photography
